Teresa M. Ressel
Ms. Ressel is currently serving as a Director at Elucida since October 2017. She has experience across investment banking, finance, healthcare and defense/engineering. Ms. Ressel also serves on the Board of ON Semiconductor serving on the Audit, Nominating and Governance (Chair) and Compensation Committees and is a trustee of Invesco Mutual Funds, serving on their Audit, Compliance and Investment Committees.
Ms. Ressel previously served in an executive role for UBS Investment Bank from 2004 until 2012. After starting as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Americas Investment banking, in 2007 she was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UBS Securities LLC which is responsible for UBS' broker dealer operations. In both roles, Ms. Ressel managed a broad array of product origination, supervisory controls, regulatory, compliance, and logistics functions covering the United States and Canada, as well as banking activities intersecting the Americas.
From 2001 until 2004, Ms. Ressel served at the United States Department of the Treasury. She was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Ninth Assistant Secretary for Management of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and was designated by Presidential directive as the Chief Financial Officer of the department, where she served in both capacities.
Between 1994 and 2000, Ms. Ressel was at Kaiser Permanente covering Corporate Audit/ Environmental Health & Safety Programs; then served as Chief Compliance Officer; and then Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, e-Commerce. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Nuclear Engineer at General Dynamics and as a corporate auditor at Hewlett Packard.
She holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a BS and MS in Engineering from the University of Delaware. Ms. Ressel is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a non-partisan policy group.
